The commissioning of an LWPA gateway enables permanent and reliable remote monitoring of the battery of the Formula Student electric racing car of “Hofspannung Motorsport e.V.”. For example, the battery can be monitored even when it is at rest in its storage location in the safety cabinet in the basement of a building, as well as on the race track.
